Pages 36–39 (Wess. 275–305) contain additional Raetian, Norican, and Pannonian routes, including important Alpine passes and Danubian military roads. The route over the Brenner Pass (connecting the Po valley via Tridentum/Trento to Veldidena/Wilten near Innsbruck and onwards to Augusta Vindelicum/Augsburg) is one of the most important Alpine crossings, used continuously from prehistory to the present. Other routes cross the Alps via the Reschen/Resia Pass and the Plöcken/Monte Croce Carnico Pass. The Pannonian routes include the road along the Drava valley (Poetovio/Ptuj → Mursa/Osijek) and the Save valley (Siscia/Sisak → Sirmium). These river-valley routes formed the logistical backbone for military operations on the Danubian frontier.
