Pages 70–75 (Wess. 465–485, continued) complete the Hispanic routes and cover the British section — the final provincial group in the Itinerarium Provinciarum. Britain (Brittania) is the last province treated, reflecting its geographical extremity. The British section (pages 72–75, Wess. 470–485) documents 15 routes (Iter I through XV) covering the road network of Roman Britain. Key routes include: Iter I (Bremenium/High Rochester to the Praetorium of the Wall — the northernmost route, reaching Hadrian's Wall country); Iter II (the road from the Wall to the port of Rutupiae/Richborough — essentially London to the north); Iter V (Londinium to Luguvallium/Carlisle via Deva/Chester); and Iter XV (Calleva/Silchester to Isca Dumnoniorum/Exeter). Major cities: Londinium (London), Eburacum (York — legionary fortress, where Constantine was proclaimed emperor in 306 CE), Camulodunum (Colchester — first Roman capital), Verulamium (St Albans), Aquae Sulis (Bath — famous for its thermal springs and temple of Sulis Minerva), and Isca Silurum (Caerleon — legionary fortress of II Augusta). The British section of the itinerary is particularly valuable because it provides the only comprehensive ancient source for the Roman road system of Britain.
