Page 76 (Wess. 487–495) begins the Itinerarium Maritimum (Maritime Itinerary) — a separate document appended to the provincial land routes. This maritime section lists sea routes and coastal distances around the Mediterranean and beyond. For the maritime itinerary, Cuntz uses primarily manuscripts P and B (= B + β), including their full readings. When these disagree, he consults R, then C. The Maritime Itinerary is organized differently from the provincial one: it gives sailing distances (often in stadia rather than miles) and lists ports and landing points rather than road stations. The first routes cover the North African coast (reprising some of the same geography as the provincial itinerary but from a maritime perspective) and the sea crossings between Africa, Sardinia, and Italy.
