Pages 77–78 (Wess. 495–510) continue the maritime itinerary with sea routes connecting the major Mediterranean ports. Key crossings include: Africa–Sardinia (Caralis/Cagliari to Carthage — approximately 200 km, one of the busiest sea lanes in the western Mediterranean); Sardinia–Africa via the Galita islands; and the routes from Ostia/Portus (Rome's port) to various Mediterranean destinations. The maritime distances sometimes include intermediate waypoints (islands, capes, anchorages) that are not recorded in the land itinerary, making the Maritime Itinerary a complementary source for Mediterranean geography.
